My name is Lyn Eng. I am a Jungian Analyst and Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
I have over 20 years’ experience in Mental Health Services in the NHS working with people with a whole range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Over the past 15 years I led Psychologist teams providing Psychology and Psychotherapy services for Harpenden, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and surrounding villages.
I am now fully in private practice and I offer a professional setting to which you can bring your concerns safely and in confidence.
People who see me may come with stress, anxiety, depression or recurrent concerns. They may feel unhappy and unfulfilled, finding life empty or lacking in meaning. They may struggle with work, family and relationships. They may find it hard coming to terms with loss, bereavement or other serious trauma. They may also have chronic pain and other health problems. In exploring their difficulties they find they come to understand themselves at a deeper level and this can enable them to make helpful changes for themselves.
I offer both short and long-term therapy including intensive psychotherapy with more frequent sessions a week. Other work I do include carrying out psychological assessments and providing medico-legal reports. I also offer supervision to other professionals including Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Counsellors.
My practice is in the north of Harpenden with free road-side parking. It is just minutes from the M1 motorway within easy reach of Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Watford, Luton and nearby areas of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
